At its heart, this is an outlaw's lament. The strings, adorning the melodies of wistful regret; of thanks, gratitude and debts unpaid.

Wonderful arrangements, similar to the mid/late '90's work Warren Ellis did for Nick Cave, but with a distinctly American Flavour.

Dedicated to Clint's Grandmother, this makes me think of my Grandmother, too. A deeply felt collection of songs. Favorite track: Palm Nocturne.

Egg Syntax I'm completely thrilled to have another full Clint Heidorn album in the world. I've completely worn through my copies of Atwater and The Oak Tree. From my listening so far (I'm taking it nice and slow with this one), it's been completely worth the wait.
